Gluten-free Diet

Is it a stepping stone to the Primal Lifestyle?

A gluten-free diet is only one part of a healthy lifestyle.  The Primal Lifestyle is a holistic approach to health.  This means thinking about health as a big picture,  addressing the whole body including physical, emotional, and mental health.  It also takes social factors into consideration.

With that being said, when making lifestyle changes, trying to change all of these areas at once can be overwhelming and leads many to give up on all of it.

As a health coach , I take my clients through this transition at a slower pace, step-by-step.

The answer to the question - Is a gluten-free diet a stepping stone to the Primal Lifestyle?- is yes, it definitely can be.

Although you can be gluten-free without being Primal, I have found  greater success mastering the gluten-free diet first before becoming fully Primal.  Learning exactly where gluten is found and eliminating the highly inflammatory foods, can help you feel better in a short amount of time.  Success in feeling  better encourages further growth and change.

Some people are motivated to go straight into Primal eating and others need to focus on consistent smaller changes.  In either case, the first step and a key factor,  is to eliminate gluten containing foods.

This all can be confusing if you are trying to do it on your own. That's why I created my course The Road to Your Ultimate Gluten-free Lifestyle.  In this course I walk you through step-by-step into a gluten-free lifestyle.

I am honored to have this on TAPASFORLIFE, and to share this platform with other like-minded contributors. There are other health related courses available as well as business, finance, personal development, and creativity.  Please go and check out my course and all the other wonderful offerings.  They are all bite-sized and affordable and there is something for everyone.

  • Recently having to change my diet to a heart healthier one has been an eye-opener for me. You nailed it on the head when you talk about it is not just a simple change… everything changes and is affected. Thank you so much for your information… so very helpful!

  • As you said, “it can all be confusing.” I’m so glad you created this course because there are so many people out there suffering needlessly from ill-health. Thanks for sharing!

  • I have been gluten free for several years now and can’t believe what a difference it’s made in my life. I love the content in your Tapas course, Leanne. I’ve learned so much from you! Thank you.

  • In the past, I would always take a very strict approach when I want to lose weight or just improve my health but make small changes is the key to success.

    • Absolutely! If we try to make too big a change we get frustrated at how difficult and large a task it seems. Taking it in smaller sections and making sure you have incorporated that aspect before moving on will build lifelong new habits.

  • Leanne, I haven’t known any lifestyle or health coach who approaches this topic with as much care for the reader as you offer. Your advice truly comes from the heart and for me, that makes it more powerful. Thank you!
